Elate's Next Show!
Opening day Oct. 10tth

ELATE's next show is a stage adaptation of Dashiell Hammett's original 1929 serial version of The Maltese Falcon as printed in Black Mask magazine.
This was turned into a popular novel in 1931, then made into 3 movies--1931, 1936 and 1941, the latter being the most famous. Every version is different in slightly (and sometimes more than slightly!) different ways. Our adaptation opens October 10, and runs three weekends.
Auditions . . .
Auditions for The Bethlehem Project (written and directed by Jeff Zimmer with music by Mike Renneker) will be held Tuesday, October 14, 7:30-9pm and Saturday, October 18, 10 a.m.- noon at the Lincoln Stegman Theatre!
The show is a series of brief comedy sketches and songs. That's right, it's a MUSICAL! ELATE's first musical in 7 years!!! There will be a special preview show on November 30, and then the show runs December 5-7.
Don't let the "musical" part scare you away! There are plenty of parts for people who can't sing as well! But we could use someone who can do a Stan Laurel impression, and we need a teen girl to sing a featured song as Mary.
Please come and be a part of this FUN show.
