On behalf of the members here at Emmanuel, I would like to express our excitement at the opportunity to know you and to share with you the marvelous ways in which Christ is working through our church into the community and beyond!
Within this website you will find information on some of the ministries we do together as a family of faith. Working together we grow together in faith, love, service and learning. Together we reach out into a world that desperately needs to hear and see the Good News it cannot do without: The Good news that God loves them, all of them, more than they can possibly imagine!
If you’ve been thinking, searching, hoping and praying for a special place to call home in this large, amazing and sometimes overwhelming city of Los Angeles, we say to you – Welcome!
Emmanuel Lutheran Church and Community - a special place you can call home.

ELF HAS $8,000 to award this fall to grant proposals!
THE FOUNDATION’S PERPETUAL FUND has money to dispense from last year’s net investment income. (This is in addition to the approximately monies marked for distribution from the Facilities Endowment Fund and scholarships for Laurel Hall).
ELF has been seeking projects that can be funded within six months of the grant awards announcement. It is the Foundation’s intention that grants awarded will be directly funded.
Due Date for Proposals is past.
Announcement of funded proposals will be Friday, November 17, 2017.
The Emmanuel Lutheran Foundation grows through generous gifts which are prudently invested and prayerfully dispersed to support the ministries of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. A gift to the foundation is truly “THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON GIVING.”
Don’t miss all the exciting news from Laurel Hall! Click here to view their website that includes their calendar of school events as well as their weekly athletics schedule in case you want to go cheer on the Hornets’ athletic teams.
