2019 Funded ELF Grant Proposals Announcement

Thanks to generous gifts to the foundation, our annual dividends allowed us to fund $14,000 in grants. Rewarded funds are for Emmanuel Lutheran Church (ELC), Laurel Hall School and Early Childhood Center (ECC) projects that are not a part of the regular operating budget. This year’s grant funds will go to…
  • Emmanuel Lutheran Church and Laurel Hall School Beautification Project to improve the landscaping and physical “curb appeal” along Oxnard Street

  • ELC Sanctuary Sound System and Wireless Microphone Upgrade

  • ECC Outdoor Classroom – tables and mud play equipment

  • Laurel Hall Music for additional Orff instruments

  • ECC/Outreach Trunk-or-Treat Investment Supplies. Includes tents, bouncer, karaoke machine and storage bins

  • Outreach Committee’s Postcard Design and Mailing Project to invite our neighbors and friends to be a part of the ELC community.

Thank you to everyone who participated and good luck to each committee with the exciting projects!

ELF is able to award annual grants to our ministries and school programs because of generous gifts from members and friends like you. When planning your charitable giving and estate, please consider a gift to the Emmanuel Lutheran Foundation. It’s truly “the gift that keeps on giving.”

For more information on how you can give to the Emmanuel Lutheran Foundation, please contact Debie Marsden or stop by the church office.  kdmarsden@gmail.com, ELC telephone: 818-761-6124.
