The Evangelism Committee sponsored a day of service January 15, 2017 in commemoration of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

A big "Thank You" to everyone who made a "Day of Service - Quilt Making for the Homeless" a big success! Many adult members, youth, and Laurel Hall families joined in the fun of cutting and tying so that 9 quilts were finished in one hour. Together with the one sample quilt we have 10 quilts for the homeless. Everyone enjoyed the fellowship as well as giving of themselves in service to others.Thank you to the Evangelism Committee for organizing this event.

There will be a time of blessing of the quilts before turning them over to St. Matthews for their Drop-In Homeless Program - date to be announced.
